Senior Product Manager, Growth
Marvin Behavioral Health | Hybrid (2 days per week in-office) | Los Angeles, New York City, Denver, or San Francisco
About the Role
Marvin Behavioral Health is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Growth to own the strategies and systems that help more people find, start, and stick with the care they need. You'll sit at the intersection of product, marketing, data, and AI - driving acquisition, activation, and retention across our member journey, from first touchpoint through ongoing engagement in care. This role has a strong AI focus: you'll help build and grow AI-powered features across the product, and you'll use AI tools yourself to prototype and move fast.
This is a hands-on, hybrid role based out of one of our hubs (LA, NYC, Denver, or SF) for someone who thinks in funnels and cohorts, moves fast on experiments, and cares deeply about the outcomes behind the metrics.
What You'll Do
Own and improve the end-to-end growth funnel: awareness → sign-up → intake → first session → ongoing active engagement
Identify the biggest levers for growing active users and deepening product usage, and build a prioritized roadmap of experiments and features
Design, launch, and analyze A/B tests across onboarding, matching, scheduling, and re-engagement flows to drive activation and repeat usage
Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Clinical Operations to ship and expand features that increase member engagement
Define and track north-star and guardrail metrics centered on active users (WAU, feature adoption rate, sessions per active member, churn) alongside acquisition metrics
Identify underused features or care touchpoints and drive initiatives to expand their reach and adoption across the member base
-
Develop AI-powered features (e.g., intelligent matching, personalized nudges, conversational intake) that drive activation and engagement
Translate qualitative member feedback and quantitative data into clear product requirements
Build a strong testing culture - clear hypotheses, rigorous measurement, fast iteration
Balance growth goals with the sensitivity and trust required in behavioral health, ensuring experiments never compromise member care or safety
What Success Looks Like
In the first 90 days: You've mapped the end-to-end growth funnel, identified the top 3–5 drop-off points affecting active usage, and shipped your first experiment
In the first 6 months: You've built a repeatable testing cadence, grown active user numbers (WAU/MAU) in a measurable way, driven adoption of at least one underused feature, and earned trust as the go-to owner of growth strategy across teams
In the first year: You've meaningfully increased active user growth and feature adoption across the member base, built a roadmap grounded in evidence, and mentored others on a strong culture of experimentation
Ongoing: your decisions are consistently grounded in active-user and adoption data, your experiments are rigorous and well-documented, and you never lose sight of the member behind the metric
What We're Looking For
5-8+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning growth, acquisition, or lifecycle-focused work
Demonstrated success running structured experiments (A/B tests, funnel optimization) and using data to drive prioritization
Comfort working directly with SQL or analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, Clarity, Tableau) to self-serve insights
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills - you can align engineers, designers, marketers, and clinicians around a shared plan
Excellent written and verbal communication; you can turn ambiguous problems into clear specs and roadmaps
Comfortable prototyping with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to quickly test ideas, mock up flows, or explore feature concepts before involving engineering
A genuine interest in healthcare, mental health, or mission-driven consumer products
Bonus: experience shipping AI-powered product features (recommendation engines, conversational interfaces, personalization, etc.)
Bonus: experience in healthcare, telehealth, or another regulated/trust-sensitive industry
