Material Bank is seeking a skilled and creative React Developer to join our Search & Recommendations team. We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for building responsive UI/UX designs and improving the search experience on our platform. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is constantly looking for ways to enhance user interactions, we'd love to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
- Implement responsive, user-friendly interface designs using React.js.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of browsers.
- Collaborate with the Search team to develop and optimize the search experience on the Material Bank platform.
- Maintain and enhance the Search administration interface.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers.
- Integrate search, recommendations, and personalization engines to craft a cohesive and unified experience.
- Continuously update and refine search functionalities based on user feedback and analytics.
What you’ll bring:
- Professional working experience (2-5 years) in web development, specifically with React.js.
- Excellent understanding of React.js, Preact and Redux and its core principles, as well as experience with popular React.js workflows.
- An eye for aesthetics and proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Familiarity with user interface design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- An eagerness to learn, a willingness to work on new technologies, and the ability to adapt in a rapidly evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Node.js, PHP, or other backend languages
- Experience with search UI/UX design is highly desired
- Experience with websockets
- Knowledge of the Magento v2 architecture
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
- QA experience
- CI/CD experience
