Material Technologies is expanding its reach into B2C with the launch of DesignShop. DesignShop is reinventing the home design process by taking the most exciting elements of Pinterest and combining them with a massive library of home design materials from hundreds of the country's best brands, all of which are instantly available for overnight sampling. DesignShop’s shoppable inspiration is highly accurate and when coupled with its hyper-realistic interactive design tools, allows users to create beautiful scenes comprised of any material in its library. It is our expectation that DesignShop will become the world’s most powerful virtual design center.

DesignShop is seeking a Sr. Lead of Integrated Marketing to help lead our launch into the B2C home design market. This is a unique opportunity to build from the ground up, involving the creation and execution of innovative marketing strategies and creative tactics to attract, convert, and retain users within this fiercely competitive landscape.

This role demands a strategic thinker, adept at the unconventional, passionate about challenges, and skilled in building. Expertise in brand marketing and content strategy, coupled with strong business judgement and analytical mindset are key. The Integrated Marketing Sr. Lead will be instrumental in introducing DesignShop to the market and building the business into a household name. The scope of this role includes brand storytelling and content across the customer lifecycle, prioritizing user acquisition, engagement, and advocacy. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that unify all marketing channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and optimal performance across each platform. This role will establish and own the content and campaign calendar, manage relationships with creative agencies, and oversee organic social media, affiliate programs, and influencer marketing efforts.

What You'll Do:

  • Content Strategy & Execution:
    • Own and maintain the content, campaign, and promotional calendar across all channels, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality content that resonates with our target audience.
    • Monitor and adjust campaign strategies based on performance metrics and market trends.
  • Brand & Creative Management:
    • Work closely with creative agencies to produce content that is on-brand and consistent across all channels and executions.
    • Provide clear briefs, feedback, and guidance to ensure that all creative work aligns with DesignShop’s brand values and marketing objectives.
    • Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Organic Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute an organic social media strategy that drives engagement, builds community, and supports overall marketing goals.
    • Oversee the creation and curation of social media content, ensuring consistency in voice, style, and messaging.
    • Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities to enhance brand presence.
  • Affiliate and Influencer Marketing:
    • Lead the strategy and execution of affiliate marketing programs to drive traffic and sales.
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with key partners, influencers, and affiliates to expand DesignShop’s reach and credibility.
    • Develop and implement influencer marketing campaigns and strategic collaborations that align with brand objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Brand Consistency and Optimization:
    • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints, maintaining a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
    • Analyze campaign performance data to optimize content, strategies, and tactics for maximum impact and ROI.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve marketing efforts.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in integrated marketing, content marketing, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and content programs.
  • Extremely self-motivated, and performance driven- you thrive on seeing the impact of your work and know how to use data to quantify its success, identify areas for improvement, and tell a story to various stakeholders across the organization
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with creative agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, affiliate marketing, and influencer marketing strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Proven ability to lead autonomously and operate in a hands-on manner with a strong bias for action.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for design and innovation.
