Material Bank is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Senior Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships to join our team and take ownership of high-value brand relationships. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of Brand Partners—leading business conversations, driving solutions, and ensuring alignment on shared goals. You will play a critical role in deepening engagement, navigating contractual discussions, and delivering strategic value that drives long-term success for both our partners and our platform.

This is not a reactive support role—we’re looking for someone who can step confidently into boardrooms, build sophisticated relationships with executives, and proactively identify solutions and opportunities that grow the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and develop strategic relationships with Brand Partners, including C-level stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, outcomes, and success metrics
  • Act as a trusted business advisor, providing data-driven insights and consultative guidance that enhances platform performance and deepens engagement
  • Lead contractual conversations, renewals, and negotiations, ensuring mutual value and long-term partnership health
  • Travel regularly to meet with Brand Partners on-site and strengthen relationships face-to-face (“Road Warrior” mindset)
  • Analyze partner activity and performance to uncover growth opportunities, operational efficiencies, and business risks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Tech, Product, Business Development) to deliver seamless execution and ongoing value
  • Translate brand needs into actionable solutions—leveraging internal resources and innovation to deliver impactful results
  • Champion best practices and raise the bar for account management across the team

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in senior-level client-facing roles, with a track record of managing complex, high-value relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage reports, analyze data, and build visualizations to support business strategies.
  • Experience with up-selling and cross-selling, identifying new opportunities to drive client value.
  • Strong business acumen with experience leading strategic conversations, negotiations, and contractual agreements
  • A consultative, solutions-first mindset with the ability to listen, synthesize, and deliver recommendations that align with business goals
  • Comfort navigating executive-level discussions and influencing outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—you know how to build trust and credibility across all levels
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills—you know how to turn performance metrics into compelling insights
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Willingness to travel regularly to meet partners in person and build high-touch, face-to-face relationships
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit—comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability in a fast-paced environment
