Overview

Terra Kaffe is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our passionate, determined, and energetic software team. This individual will continue developing and automating Terra Kaffe’s cloud infrastructure, IoT Services, internal BI, and disaster recovery pipelines through native code, micro-services, and 3rd party SaaS services. In addition, this role will heavily collaborate with cross-functional teams to further the company’s product portfolio and deliver design-forward and user-centered solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and excels at effectively handling multiple priorities and deadlines.

This is a full- time position with remote optionality and will report to the CTO. Seattle or Brooklyn preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end SDLC activities, including architecture design, API design, data analysis/SQL queries, active coding, and quality testing
• Develop and test the redundancy of disaster recovery, data security, and interconnected data flow pipelines
• Interacting, leading, and managing 3rd party partners to execute product & web timelines
• Think big, collaborating on awesome ideas to develop the best products and experiences!
• Assist CTO and CEO with special projects as needed

Skills and Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science and 6+ years of experience working with modern web technologies and Cloud Infrastructures (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of .Net, Python, Node.js, JavaScript
• Experience with cross-platform architecture frameworks with a focus on interoperability between various 3rd party offerings (Shopify applications, Kustomer, loyalty/subscription/dropship plugins)
• Heavy backend focused, but with a good eye for design, detail, and user experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• While not required, bonus points for expertise with the IHOP stack (we like pancakes)
