Position Summary

We are seeking to add a Certified Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 2-3 days a week, including Fridays. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations within the dental practice, supporting the dentist during procedures, and delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during various procedures, including general and restorative dentistry.
• Take and process digital radiographs with precision (radiology certification required).
• Prepare operatories before each patient visit and ensure all instruments are sterilized following OSHA and infection-control protocols.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide outstanding patient care by educating patients about oral health and ensuring their comfort during visits.
• Keep the work environment clean, organized, and efficient to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must possess Radiology Certification.
• EFDA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred or must be willing to obtain it.
• Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply as mentorship will be provided.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position depending on experience, skills, reliability, flexibility, and certifications.
