My Dentist Friend was founded by Dr. Hojin Kim, DMD, alongside his sister, Dr. Heejung Kim, DMD. As graduates of the University of Pennsylvania Dental School, the siblings’ commitment to providing friendly, reliable care is reminiscent of their time in the “City of Brotherly Love”. Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Dental Hygienist (RDH) with a strong commitment to patient care to join our patient-focused general dentistry practice in our Vineland and Millville offices. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional preventive care, educating patients on optimal oral hygiene, and contributing to a positive and professional office environment. This is a full-time or part-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Assessment: Perform thorough oral prophylaxis, conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, and assess soft and hard tissues for any abnormalities.
• Preventive and Therapeutic Procedures: Apply fluoride and sealants, perform root planing, and administer local anesthesia (with a valid NJ permit).
• Radiography and Documentation: Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) and maintain accurate, detailed patient records using EHR software.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide dietary counseling.
• Infection Control: Strictly adhere to all infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the dentist and other staff to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Licensure: Must hold a current and valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License in New Jersey.
• Education: Graduate of a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program.
• Certification: Current CPR certification is required.
• Skills: Proficiency with digital radiography and EHR software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft), excellent manual dexterity, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: Experience administering local anesthesia, experience with advanced periodontal therapies, and bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour, based on experience and performance.
