Overview

I am a periodontist seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join my small, friendly specialty practice. Our office is intentionally structured to run smoothly and efficiently, allowing patients to be seen on time whenever possible and creating a relaxed, low-pressure environment for both patients and the clinical team.

This position is ideal for a surgical assistant who values organization, calm efficiency, and high-quality patient care. Experience assisting with complex extractions, periodontal surgery, and dental implant placement is preferred. While surgical experience is important, I am committed to providing training and support specific to periodontal specialty care so you always feel confident and supported.

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – required
• Dental X-ray certification – required
• CPR certification – required
• Experience assisting in surgical and implant procedures preferred
• Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Skilled in effective surgical suctioning
• Reliable, self-motivated, professional, and patient-centered

Position Details & Benefits

• Salaried position
• Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience and skill level. Specific compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
• Four-day work week
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Up to 30-minute break during the workday
• Two weeks paid vacation annually

Compensation

• Salary: $38,400 - $50,000 per year
