About the Role

Join our friendly, patient-focused practice as a Pediatric Dental Assistant where teamwork and positive energy drive every interaction. You'll support our dentists in delivering exceptional care to young patients, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring experience for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Place dental sealants and assist with stainless steel crowns (SSCs)
• Support pulpotomy procedures and space maintainer placements
• Manage patient behavior and create a calm environment for pediatric patients
• Communicate treatment plans and post-care instructions to parents/guardians
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Maintain sterilization protocols and prepare operatories for each appointment

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a pediatric setting
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Dental X-ray certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to comfort anxious children
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (flexible)
• Hourly pay range: $20 - $24 per hour
