About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dental Assistant with 2+ years of experience to join our team-oriented practice. You’ll work Monday through Thursday in a friendly, positive atmosphere that values work-life balance and puts patient comfort first.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient behavior to ensure a calm, reassuring experience for children and parents
• Communicate effectively with parents about treatment plans and post-care instructions
• Assist the dentist with exams, assist the hygienist with patient intake, taking x-rays, coronal polishing, and application of fluoride.
• Prepare operatories and treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric dental assisting experience
• Coronal Polish Certification required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused mindset
