Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and outgoing Endodontic Assistant to join our clinical team. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care during specialized procedures.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of one year of dental assisting experience is required. A current state dental assistant registration/license (CDA/RDA) is required for this position.
• Surgical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience assisting doctors during surgical procedures, including proficiency with digital imaging and electronic health records systems (or a strong, proven willingness to undergo advanced clinical training).
• Technical Skills: Ability to sterilize instruments and disinfect operatories to maintain a pristine clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct chairside assistance to the Doctor during endodontic procedures and surgeries.
• Manage sterilization protocols for all instruments and treatment rooms, ensuring compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines. This includes maintaining and operating sterilization equipment and documenting processes.

Secondary Duties

Periodically assist the front desk team by answering phones, accurately inputting vital patient information into our practice management software, checking patients in/out, and collecting payments as needed. This support is typically required during peak hours or staff shortages.

Compensation & Benefits

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour

About the Company

We are a Independent Specialty Endodontic Office with 1 endodontist with day shift assistants and night shift assistants. Our office is equipped with CBCT imaging and the GentleWave procedure, allowing our team to deliver the highest standard of specialty care. .
