Position Overview

Join our growth-oriented, patient-centered dental practice as a Dental Receptionist. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, managing front-desk operations in a supportive, team-driven environment. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of dental reception or front-office experience and excel at multitasking.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using Open Dental or similar software
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address patient inquiries
• Manage and fill the hygiene schedule
• Verify insurance benefits, collect co-pays, and manage patient billing
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data privacy
• Assist with treatment planning coordination and referrals
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize patient flow

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a dental receptionist or front-office coordinator
• Proficiency with dental terminology and treatment planning processes
• Familiarity with Open Dental or equivalent practice management software (strong plus)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus
