Overview

Our private general dental practice in Old Town Orange is seeking a caring, responsible, and self-motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team long-term.

Highly Prefer someone who is bilingual in English & Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Taking X-rays/Pano/CBCT
• Knowledge of iTero and Dandy scan for scanning patients.
• Knowledge of dental impressions and pouring models.
• Assist in all dental procedures including: Implants, fillings, crowns, dentures, root canals, extractions, etc.
• Sterilization
• Clean and set up rooms
• Maintain operatories, lab/back office clean and organized.
• Keep track of outgoing and incoming lab cases.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has to be dependable, friendly and a people person.

• Must have dental assistant/x-ray license
• Preferably 2+ years of experience

Schedule

• Every other Monday: 9:00am to 6:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:30am-6:00pm
• Some Wednesdays: 8:30am to 2:00pm
• Fridays: 8:30am to 2:30pm
• 1 Saturday per month: 8:00am to 3:00pm (Lunch provided on Saturdays)
• We are closed Thursdays, Sundays, and every other Monday.

Benefits

• Sick pay (6 months after hire)
• Vacation pay (after 1 year of employment)

Compensation

• Salary: $22 - $26 per hour
